A Close-up of a Vase with Flowers in it

‘A Close-up of a Vase with Flowers in it’ looks at artificial intelligence. A study of its capabilities. A study of its limitations. An appreciation of its efforts to paint a better world, one caption at a time.

The exhibition draws attention to the censorship of information through a side-by-side display of images and their A.I generated captions.

Made in collaboration with George Boyd, Cody Dunstan-Brown, Sam Fraser, Yinru Goh, Andrew Guo, Thomas Johnston, Max Quinn-Tapara and Zara Simpson.

Completed at Toi Rauwhārangi, College of Creative Arts, Massey University.
